The Masterplan
! This is another one of my favorites by Oasis, truly an epic song and
! another where our lads are accompanied by a string and horn section.
! There's alot of weird chords used in this song, and the chords are sort
! of hard to hear (especially in the intro) because of the string
! section, so keep an open mind when you see this transcription on
! paper, because if you play the song, you'll hear these chords are pretty
! much the right ones. Written next to some of the chords I use for this
! song are the chords listed in the official Oasis B-sides guitar book
! (thanks to Paul Das for providing these) in case you want
! to know what that book has listed. Unfortunately, I don't think the
! transcription found in this book is a very accurate one (as is the case
! with many transcriptions in the "official" Oasis tab books) so you can try
! out these chords if you wish, but you'll most likely agree with me that in
! most cases the "official" book is incorrect.

! I worked out the intro so it sounds right when played on one guitar (you
! need bass to do what they actually do). Basically, it`s an Am chord with one
! note descending (what the bass usually does):
